January 2026 Honoree
Elizabeth Lenz, RN, BSN
I spoke with Liz after the provider's office told me that my mom needed an appointment to be seen. There were none in the office, so I had to take my mom to be seen in urgent care.
Liz took the extra time to tell me about being able to make appointments at urgent care and even walked me through it on my mom’s MyChart so that I could make an appointment for my mom to be seen there. Liz said that she likes to make sure patients, especially older folks, know about this so that they are in the waiting room for as short a time as possible.
The appointment went great, and I was able to get my mom in and out without being in the waiting room long. Liz was so kind, caring, and helpful, and you can tell she cares about the people she takes care of.
