Elizabeth Liquori is the definition of what a DAISY nurse should be. She goes above and beyond in every aspect of her job. She is able to maintain her focus on her patients while juggling multiple responsibilities. She has developed a system she calls "total patient". She sees the whole person, not just the medical condition which is the reason for the visit. Liz ensures every client is taken care of in all aspect, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Her caring does not stop with the patient; it is extended to the family and significant others. Surgery can be a frightening event, but Liz's smile helps to calm any fears. The care and compassion that she provides so effortlessly has a tremendous impact on all of those she cares for. She is the greatest nurse I have ever met.
