My husband’s breathing tube was finally removed. He had been heavily sedated before its removal. He was just beginning to feel all the pain from all the trauma he had suffered since his accident. Liz was very compassionate while helping him through his painful situation. He got upset with her because he was in such pain, but she never got irritated with him because of it. She helped him to every degree she was able. She stayed by him and let me (his wife) rest. He said one night when she came in that she was the greatest nurse he’s ever had at any hospital he’s ever been in. She went above and beyond to get his pain controlled and make him feel/know he was in a safe place.
