I would like to nominate Elizabeth for the DAISY Award. She consistently demonstrates excellence through her clinical expertise on a daily basis. Her skills as a nurse are far superior than most nurses I have ever worked with. She shows kindness, compassion, patience and dedication every day to her patients as well as to staff members. She is an often requested nurse by surgeons because she is able to focus on the needs of her patients and she is able to provide the best quality care. She always has a great attitude and is always smiling, which positively impacts the staff. She truly does live out Sentara's mission to "Improve Health Every Day" and I am proud to be a part of the staff here at SPAH's operating room and working alongside Elizabeth. She definitely is a role model for all.
