November 2017 Honoree
elizabeth ludicke, BSN, RN
Liz was my mother's nurse the day we decided to transition to a plan of palliative care/hospice. She worked seamlessly with the nurse we had on days to make sure our mother was comfortable, and our concerns were met. She was quick to offer suggestions and to reach out to the MD for appropriate orders.
My mother never made it to hospice after that long night; instead, she passed away surrounded by family with her symptoms controlled, on her own terms.
Liz made a difficult time easier for our family through her compassion and skill. She is an excellent nurse.

Thank you, Elizabeth, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
