Elizabeth M Brock, RN

Liz Brock is a role model! She brings to her team not only years of experience as a rehabilitation nurse but a deep commitment to her patients and colleagues. She is never too busy to assist team members, patients, or family members. One example of her caring and compassion involved a young man who suffered severe and debilitating injuries. Liz not only worked with him but sat and listened to him as he tried to speak and held his hand while he grieved the loss of his former life. In spite of the challenges and pain, laughter always resounded from that room when Liz was on duty. Liz's qualities prompt all of us to re-examine our standards for ourselves and to reach high to achieve them!
