Recently, Lizz (Elizabeth) helped a dying patient fulfill his final wish of getting married to his long time significant other before he passed away. She was able to collaborate with nutrition services, spiritual care, patient experience, and her peers to assist the patient in planning and executing his wedding. Lizz decorated one of the unit halls for the wedding and the education room for the reception. She was persistent in making sure this happened for the patient and his significant other. One week later, the patient passed away and all who were involved will not forget how Lizz went beyond the call of duty to make a difference for her patient.
