My sister was admitted to the ICU with double pneumonia and an MRSA infection spreading to her heart causing endocarditis. Liz not only treated my sister but went above and beyond the duties of being a nurse. Liz gave my family the hope we needed. She even did my sister's hair. It was above and beyond sweet because my sister had been sedated so long that her hair was in terrible knots.
My sister was eventually transported to Norfolk hospital. On Liz's day off she drove to Norfolk hospital to bring my sister Chic-Fil-A and give her a foot massage. Not to mention, she has four of her own children at home! My family and I are forever grateful for Liz - she provided the hope for us and my sister.
