Liz has a way with my Dad. She had an understanding of his needs when he was intubated and in pain and when he struggled to communicate. He would point at her and give a thumbs up to show his approval. She is always patient and knowledgeable with our questions, and there are many, coming from 4 concerned family members. She is a wonderful, caring nurse, and when we see her on shift, we breathe a sigh of relief, and so does our Dad, which is the best feeling in the world. She is bringing him through the most important surgery of his life, and we are forever grateful to her. All his nurses have been wonderful, but she holds a special place.
