Nomination #1
Elizabeth was our grandmother's nurse for two days in a row. She took the time to get to know her, as she struggles with memory. Elizabeth got her dressed, helped with her hair, and even helped apply makeup. This was in addition to her nursing duties, including medication, IV care, and charting. She treated her like it was her grandmother, instead of a patient. We appreciate the specialized care geared towards an 84-year-old lady. It was truly appreciated.
Elizabeth's services go beyond healing and the body, but also nurture the soul.

While I was in the hospital for two weeks, it wasn’t always the most fun. Liz always brought entertainment to my day. She encouraged me to laugh and look for the bright side of things. As a 16-year-old boy, the hospital wasn’t where I wanted to spend my summer, but she helped me make it tolerable. She would find things for me to do while I was bed-bound and always helped me in any way possible.
Thank you Liz for being the best nurse at Saint Luke’s.
