Liz made me and my baby feel cared for during a really tough and long hospital stay.
I was admitted to the hospital with severe preeclampsia at 36 weeks. Liz helped my primary nurse upon admission. The two clearly had a wonderful working relationship and kept things positive and light during one of the scariest times in my life. I knew no matter how things went I'd be safe because of them. I had a lengthy hospital stay after delivery, with some difficulty in controlling my blood pressure. Liz was so caring and compassionate throughout. She was creative with finding ways for me to stay calm when my blood pressure needed to be checked.
Liz worked with the rest of the hospital staff, coordinating my care so I would be able to get rest. She advocated for my much-needed discharge to the attending Doctor when I was frustrated and felt like I'd never be able to go home. Most of all, Liz made me and my baby feel cared for during a really tough and long hospital stay with lots of different challenges that popped up. I feel really grateful that I had such a kind and compassionate nurse.
