Elizabeth Tugas, RN
Elizabeth warmly welcomed me to her care in a time when the unit had more patients than beds, assured my comfort, observed me closely, and did all things correctly in terms of both the art and the science of nursing. She took time to know more about me, my background as a nurse.
Luckily, I didn’t require a lot of the science of nursing, but more of the art of nursing, the care and compassion, the personalized touches were greatly appreciated and therapeutic. She is an exceptional RN. This observation is knowledgeable. I am a retired nurse and hospital executive, and I initiated the DAISY Award at Sonoma Valley Hospital in California when I was the VP of Patient Care.
