February 2020 Honoree
elizabeth upadhyaya, BSN, RN, CPN
Our reason for being in the hospital started as an unfortunate accident. We arrived filled with so many emotions and the inability to coherently process all of them. Our very first morning we meet our "Nurse-Angel" Liz.
Liz was the light that we used to guide us and our baby on the road to recovery. She realizes her patients may need to heal in many ways. We needed to heal physically and emotionally, and that process was able to begin due to the caring nature of Liz. She always walked into our room with a smile and if she didn't have the answer to our question, she never hesitated to find us an answer.
I know this hospital is full of nurses like our nurse, but we wanted to make sure Liz knows her commitment to excellence does not go unnoticed.

Thank you, Elizabeth, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
