Elizabeth Williams, BSN

Elizabeth Williams is an exceptional nurse, most deserving of recognition. In the past 6 years I have had more hospital visits than I ever imagined possible. I had the pleasure of Elizabeth greeting me with a smile as soon as I was admitted. She was the first person to ask about myself and not just about my symptoms and illness. She made me feel like a human. She remembered that I had another story to tell, other than the one of my failing liver. Elizabeth reminded me that I am a person outside of my illness. For so long I looked at myself as a sick and dying person. She gave me the perspective that I am still the same person with the same skills and interests but living with a disease. She helped me so much. Her care and kindness gave me back a part of my life I didn't even realize I had stopped living. I and my family will be forever grateful for the quality Elizabeth put back into my life.
