When I was a patient on the 3rd floor, I was scared because I needed surgery and procedures done. Prior to my surgery Elke was very gentle and explained the procedures, as well as to why they were needed. She was there with me holding my hand and encouraging me throughout procedure (NG Placement) even though her shift was over. She also was very gentle with the injections that I received. She has a motherly touch and eased my anxiety tremendously. I looked forward to seeing her every night because, I knew I would be well taken care of!
