All the nurses, charge nurses, NPs, and doctors are excellent on the Oncology Floors. Ellen stands out. First, she clearly loves her job. She understands cancer in the bone and the pain. She did everything possible to help my pain. She was efficient, friendly, and so empathetic. I was discharged and had to return. She saw my husband and asked why I was back in the hospital. After she finished her shift, she came to visit me. I was having new pain and she brought me ice and rubbed my back. Way above and beyond anything expected. If anyone deserves a DAISY Award it is Ellen.
