Ellen Franz, RN, MSN, CPXP

Ellen is a role model for positivity and perseverance in today’s tough health care environment. Though she focuses on making sure our patients have the best experience possible while in the hospital, she also works closely with the nurses, managers, and directors to make sure they have a positive work experience. She constantly inquires about the welfare of everyone inside the hospital and works relentlessly to provide for them. She is always available with a listening ear and much-needed wisdom. She supports the staff and the patients in a kind and patient manner, and the staff loves seeing her out on the floor. She makes sure everyone knows they are not alone in their struggles.

Ellen consistently works to improve herself as well, spending her free time reading books and listening to seminars that help her find new and innovative ways to enhance the experience of everyone who walks through the hospital doors. She is kind and supportive, friendly and trustworthy, dependable and ambitious. Ellen truly embodies all attributes of a DAISY Nurse Leader.
