I had a very long and painful delivery. My son was a large baby and it was rough. I was scared. Between the Pitocin and the long labor throughout the day, I felt like a wreck when it came to the end. When Ellen came in on the morning shift she immediately took control and I felt so relieved. Her suggestions and care were on another level. She made me feel heard and so much less scared. She helped me both physically and emotionally. I’ve never had a nurse who was so helpful, professional, kind, and funny. I am so truly lucky I had her as my nurse as I delivered my son. She went above and beyond and made me feel like more than just another patient.
