Waking in a hospital after surgery is surreal, a twilight of experiences. All kinds of beeps, cords, and strangers talking. Then nurse Ellen arrives. She is down-to-earth, capable, confident, reassuring and clearly a mind reader who knows what you need. Ellen is the best human. So glad she was my nurse. I am forever grateful.
