Ellie Ehrhard, RN

I was fortunate enough to have Miss Ellie as my nurse during my stay at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She went above and beyond like no other nurse I have ever seen there. I've had three other surgeries at DMH in the past 2 years. I was nervous this time, and I honestly could not have asked for a better nurse. She is so educated in her field. Ellie took the time to explain everything to me. If I ever had any questions or weird feelings because I had a major stomach surgery, she was there. She constantly checked on me. Ellie just went above and beyond.

On the second morning, I started having a little bit of a breakdown and started crying. My blood pressure was almost over 200. She came in and calmed me down, explaining things to me. It made all the difference in the world! She truly was a light in my life the past 3 days, and I cried leaving her because she made such a huge difference in my stay! I honestly believe that she needs to be recognized because I know she has a strong rapport with patients in the same manner, and she is an excellent human being and an extraordinary nurse. She is a star!
