I was visiting my sister who was in the hospital in labor. When we first met Ellie, she walked into the room during shift change with the warmest smile. Her bubbly personality filled the room, and I knew instantly that my sister was going to get the best care. 

She introduced herself right away and made my sister comfortable. One thing that I noticed about her was that she loved her job and caring for her patients. She was very knowledgeable and supported my sister through the whole experience. There was something about her that just made my sister feel so comfortable and gave good energy in the room. I always noticed before she did something for my sister, she made sure to ask and make sure what she was going to do was okay before doing so. She also explained everything she was doing and why she was doing it. 

As a nursing student, she made me excited to be a nurse, and taught me how to be a kind and compassionate nurse as she is. My sister said she had an amazing experience and loved having Ellie as her nurse. My sister was worried about how this birth was going to go, but Ellie had a special touch that made my sister feel calm. She is such a special nurse that we all still remember her name because of how kind and nice she was to us, even though we were strangers to her. All the nurses were great at this hospital, but Ellie just had a certain drive about her. The whole experience was so meaningful.
