Ellie Russell, BSN, RN

Our daughter was born with a complete heart block and was hooked up to tubes and lines since birth. Day 9 of her life and we had yet to hold her. Ellie went out of her way on an extremely busy day to pull troops together so that we could hold our sweet girl before she went into surgery the next day. This I’m sure was not an easy task as she had to assemble a group of about 6 others to help with the process. This gesture meant so much to me and my husband! We can not thank Ellie enough for giving us that special moment.
