Elli was a very thoughtful nurse and seemed sincerely concerned and caring.

My brother had surgery and Elli treated him like a family member. She was kind, caring and had a sense of humor when my brother dropped his urinal and it went all over the floor. She cleaned it up herself with a sense of humor. I brought my demented father to visit from Denver. Elli would call down to dining to tell us it was at 4:30. She knew this, yet every day she made the call. She would stay and visit with us and make us feel like we were family. My brother said Elli was the best nurse here at SPH. That she would smile at him and make it feel like everything was fine. She encouraged him every day more than once to breathe and use the breathing tube. She set goals every day for him. Elli is a true professional and takes her oath as a nurse to be caring and encouraging. Her smile and attitude are contagious.
