Elora Klepinger

There was a confused, elderly patient coming out of anesthesia that was unsure of what or where he was. Elora, with permission from her preceptor, went over to this patient and talked with him while he came out of anesthesia. Even when he was moved to a different bay to wait for an inpatient bed, Elora sat with him and talked about his past career and love for his family.

Elora’s conversation and presence made a visible difference in how this patient recovered from anesthesia and found comfort following surgery.
