After three days without food or water, I was admitted to the hospital, dehydrated, scared, and unable to use my right arm due to a severe infection. While many staff helped, it was Elsa who truly made me feel cared for. She listened, acted promptly, communicated clearly, and brought calm during a frightening time. Even off duty, she ensured smooth transitions and continued to check on me. Elsa is a remarkable nurse, and anyone at Mount Sinai would be fortunate to have her.
