My daughter was admitted on a Sunday evening from her job after feeling woozy; I got her into the ER and her nurse was Emily. Emily cared for my daughter in such a way that made her feel relaxed and in safe hands as she has never had the need to visit the ER, much less, be hospitalized. Emily made certain that every intervention necessary was implemented and did not hesitate to communicate with me as to what the next steps would be. My daughter was admitted with dangerously low hemoglobin and Emily made certain to get her onto the correct unit so that she could be transfused ASAP. Emily even went as far as to check on her during her stay. Emily certainly exhibited excellence as a nurse and was a very valuable asset to CHA (ER). Emily demonstrated compassion and care every step of the way and I so much appreciate her.
