Emanuel Tabe was nominated by the daughter of a patient. The patient was airlifted to CHI St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock and arrived in the SICU several hours prior to the family getting to the hospital. Emanuel kept in constant contact with the family who lived several hours away. He gathered pertinent information from the family as they continued their drive to the hospital. He spoke in terms that the family could understand and kept re-orienting the patient. He did not leave the patient's side and supported the patient and family during a very scary situation.
