I have been in and out of JCL Sunnyslope for several months due to heart-related issues. I saw my doctor who sent me to the ED for cardioversion. After that and IR scope of veins, I was sent to ODU and assigned to Emanuella. She is the most caring and thoughtful nurse from all my visits.
On this visit, the MD ordered a very lethal drug that required close supervision by a cardiac ICU team and MD. Emanuella questioned this order and raised concern through management, contacted the MD and the order canceled possibly saving my life. Even when she wasn't my nurse, when she had 2 other ODU rooms, she came by to visit and check on me or help. I have never had this level of care.
