This Team was recognized by their medical colleague in a busy Emergency Department in Abu Dhabi.
The tenacity, persistence to keep going on and the aptitude to capitalize on their strengths make for exemplary nurses. This was what happened when a two-year-old unresponsive child was brought to the ER by the terrified parents. The toddler was in a limp state, covered in stools. The proficient ER nursing team took the lead and meritoriously managed the situation.
The team including Br. Wilson, Sr. Rajimol, Br. Mabin, Sr. Jissa, Br. Alfie were really passionate and caring, stepped forward to take the child from the arms of the mother who was also covered in loose stools without a second of reluctance. They were committed to soothing the hysterical parents by addressing their concerns, being with them throughout the situation and cushioning them. The nurses gave their time compassion and support.
All those applaudable spirits and efforts kept them jubilant till the end of the shift, making an exceeding traumatic and almost tragic situation easier to handle.
