I don't get choked up much in the ER these days, but yesterday was particularly hard. We had an infant who came in. EZ was incredible in taking care of the mother. Dr. Nelson assisted, and I intubated. The entire team was amazing and compassionate. Although many team members were in the room, we truly came together as a team and a family to try to save this life. It was a pure effort. Everyone involved deserves recognition and my heartfelt gratitude for their efforts. Please pass this message on to the nursing staff. This is why we're here; this is why we try and care. I didn't cry until I got home, but there have been a lot of tears for me—and I'm sure many others on our team feel the same way. Love to our incredible ER family.

I would like to thank the team, and everyone involved in the tough situation when a patient came into the ER. Patrick Manamara, RN, was amazing and helpful Ashley Hlist, RN, provided crucial medication assistance. Adrienne Thompson, PCT, was wonderful! She helped care for the mother and wrapped the baby, which was touching. The staff even signed a card for her. Kristy Garcia, RN, was very helpful. Summer Staib, RN, was great, and Kayla Marshall, RN, provided excellent support. Nadia Suleiman, RN, the primary care nurse, did an excellent job caring for the patient and managing the situation. Arianna Naccarato, RN, was helpful. Arica Henderson, PCT, was also very supportive. Dr. Nelson, Dr. Skeins, EZ Parrado, ARNP, and April Kimbel, ARNP, all handled the mother. Despite the difficult circumstances, I want to share this experience with you. Everything went smoothly, and every team member worked well with each other as a cohesive unit.

I am in awe of the strength, dedication, and compassion each team member brings to our work daily. What they do is nothing short of heroic, but their unity and teamwork make a difference. In those high-pressure, fast-paced moments, when every second counts, they come together seamlessly, each person fulfilling their role with skill, heart, and unwavering commitment to the patients who need them most. It's not just about the knowledge or experience they possess; it's also about how they support one another, communicate and trust each other, and lift each other during intense and weary moments. They make the impossible seem possible and do it with grace and resilience. Every shift is a reminder of the power of collaboration and the impact of working together toward a common goal. This team's compassion, expertise and tireless efforts do not go unnoticed—they create hope amidst chaos and healing amid the pain. Thank you to the entire team for being the heart of the ER. Your teamwork saves lives, not just through your actions, but in how you achieve them.
