Emilee provided extraordinary care to my son C. C is 21 months old and does not take medicine well. Emilee was our night shift nurse. After she witnessed the medicine "meltdown", she went home and diligently researched giving oral meds to toddlers. The next night she had a few suggestions. We followed her lead, and he took his entire antibiotic! Since Emilee took the time to research giving oral meds we were able to go home without a PICC Line! She was very patient and showed all of our family compassion. She deserves to be recognized for going above and beyond her job description!
