This nurse is amazing. Emilee made me feel like we were part of a team. She coached me on the situation, listened to my concerns, and was so compassionate regarding my needs. She helped me to feel like a human! I need open heart surgery to replace my aortic valve. I have spells of chest pain and, of course, stress. There is a rush on valve surgeries, so I need to stay here and wait. I am afraid but also ready to get it over. She has been so respectful of my insanity with the situation. She takes the time to explain to me why I am feeling the way I am. She encourages me to walk and order food. She is respectful of me when I can't catch my breath or am in pain and helps me to feel better. I tend to feel stupid and want to hide in situations like this. Emilee's leadership has helped me face it "face on" and know that "I got this." Thank you so much, Emilee.
