I was brought to Kaiser Permanente in Santa Rosa as an emergency patient with a complex fracture of my right femur. I was traveling with my wife on a driving trip from Minneapolis, Minnesota when I fell in a hotel parking lot. It was difficult to be in such pain and be so far from home.
