Emily far exceeds all the nursing values noted above. My 90-year-old mother suffered severe sunstroke and was given less than a 5% chance to live through the first night. Well, we are five nights into a sprint to take her from comfort care to full patient care. The treatment orders were always changing with multiple options offered and Emily always explained everything before administrating while watching for adverse side effects or adverse results from treatment, all the while adapting to the always-changing attitude of a 90-year-old lady who was physically, mentally challenged, in and out of confusion, and differing levels of patient exhaustion. Emily was incredible!!! I always understate! Emily should be the role model for all new nursing employees!!
