Emily was kind, empathetic, wonderful, and calming.
My grandmother was admitted in less-than-ideal conditions following multiple cardiac arrests. Ultimately, over the course of a few days, she took a turn for the worst and succumbed to her injuries. While this was certainly one of the hardest times of my life, I along with the rest of my family was comforted by the care she was provided. Emily was kind, empathetic, wonderful, and calming. She made sure to take the time to explain everything (even if it meant several times to family both present and calling in). She welcomed questions and never once appeared as if she would rather be somewhere else. When speaking with Emily, you had her full attention. She genuinely enjoyed and truly wanted to provide the best care she could for my grandmother (as I’m confident she does for all her patients). Whether she wants to admit it or not, as a nurse myself, I can say without question she has been outstanding. Emily exemplified all the characteristics of quality nursing care and performed them flawlessly. Her examples of care and compassion are what lead to the creation of future nurses. I, along with my family would like to thank her for everything. Thank You, Emily!
