It gave my husband tears to think that she did this for him.
I am a former nurse, so I judge nurses a little harder than most. Our nurse was wonderful!!! Not only that, but you would be proud to know that she is a shining example of your "Medical City Healthcare Mission, Patient Promise, Values, and Vision. Above all else, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life. We are committed to excellence always: every action, every patient, every time." My husband had a brain injury in 2005, has a speech impairment, and can be somewhat difficult when he is hurting. He had a surgical procedure that caused a lot of pain. Our nurse would always be there to offer assistance, she even asked if there was anything that she could do for him during one of the times that she was in the room, my husband said to pray. Then about 30 minutes later the chaplain shows up to be with my husband. I know nurses are so busy, but she took the time out and really did what she said she was going to do. It gave my husband tears to think that she did this for him. She would even talk to him "the patient" not many people do that since he has a speech problem, but she did!!!! Some of the staff and even one of the doctors (not the Dr that did the surgery) would ask me the questions. Great job finding her. She was always pleasant and you could tell she loves what she does.
