I would like to recognize Emily. We did not get to see her before discharge but wanted her to know how much we appreciate how she advocated for us and for our son to get the best care. She was very compassionate and respectful when it came to communicating the loss of our baby's spinal sample and any update we asked for about the situation. She was very nurturing and focused on us during our stay and made sure we had everything we needed and answered all our questions to the best of her abilities. Emily made sure we felt comfortable around her and was not just doing her job, we could tell she cared about our situation and child. As a family we want her to be recognized for her remarkable patient experience and extraordinary compassionate care.
