Emily Blaser, RN
My spouse and I came in for a routine NST (Neonatal Stress Test). Unbeknownst to us, we would be getting induced that day at 36 weeks. From the start, Emily Blaser was nothing short of caring, kind, and compassionate. While some might say that’s part of her job, they consistently went above and beyond. The situation changed after I needed to have a C-section.
Our baby needed to be transferred to a higher level of care within an hour of birth, leaving me immediately postpartum and alone. Emily quickly recognized that my mental health was struggling far beyond my physical health. She helped facilitate my transfer to the same facility as my newborn so we could remain together. My spouse and I are forever thankful for her. Without her support, care for our newborn would have been further delayed. Birth is a vulnerable time, especially for first-time parents, and in such a frightening situation, she acted swiftly and without hesitation. She treated us as if we were their own family, and for that we are eternally grateful.
