Emily Browning, RN

I was recently in the PCU following bypass surgery. Ms. Browning was my nurse there. I am a retired physician. I divide care in medicine into two parts. The first is scientific. Ms. Browning knew exactly what she was doing. She provided care with professional accuracy. She was often giving advice to other individuals. Her manner was friendly, warm, yet confident. Always reassuring if there were issues. The second equally important care factor is the art of medicine. Ms. Browning was one of the most caring nurses I have experienced. Always upbeat and truly glad to see you. She seemed to know when a personal comment would become more helpful than a clinical one. Just checking in when there had been a previous issue made all the difference.
