An oncology patient was preparing for her mastectomy. This patient messaged me with concerns that her surgery may need to be canceled due to pre-op testing results. I was not sure how to get the patient the answers she needed, so with assistance from the surgery staff, the message got sent to Emily. Emily took the time out of her very busy day of caring for patients in person to My Chart message my patient back. She explained the results and provided reassurance. Because of Emily's dedication to serving our patients, she has helped ease the concerns of a very scared and nervous patient! Thank you very much, Emily!
