Emily immediately connected with my daughter and gained rapport with her. Emily educated her on all the meds and treatments she was giving her. Emily was accessible at all times during her 12-hour shift. We experienced an awful side effect from the medicine and Emily was right there with emergency meds to administer. She had the physician on the unit and even notified staff of the crisis in our room so all were well versed. Emily remained calm and professional through the crisis. Emily's skill set, knowledge, compassion and nursing expertise makes her a true DAISY Nurse.
