Emily Byk, RN

I have never met such a lovely, helpful, caring, hard-working, and empathetic nurse. She approached me with respect, dignity, and compassion. She constantly went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and heard. She advocated harder for me than any professional ever has. Not only that, but she helped me come up with a post-discharge plan, educated me on my medications, suggested some community resources, printed out material to help me further understand things, and so much more. She even tried to find ways to keep us entertained and reduce a lot of our anxieties. There is so much I want to say. I just hope this gives her some well-deserved recognition. Thank you, Nurse Emily. You are a star.
