Emily introduced herself to us when my brother was in the cath lab. She kept us up to date on his situation in the cath lab and let us know he would be going to "her" in the ICU eventually. She made us feel very confident that things were going well and stayed late to see him out of surgery and transition to ICU. Emily always showed compassion and was available for any questions and explanations needed. She was always present with a smile and words of encouragement. Emily followed up with his status each time she was at work and even came to take him outside when he needed a break! Emily has continued to be a big part of his recovery! She has been to PCU to see him and accommodated our request to get him a real shower 2 weeks after surgery! She made it possible for him to move to the only PCU room with a shower and ensured he got to take one that night! She has been a blessing to our family!
