Emily was my L&D day shift nurse when I gave birth to my son. She was without a doubt the most caring nurse I have ever encountered. She took the time to get to know me, my husband and my family. Throughout the day, she explained every medical intervention that was being done to induce labor so I knew what to expect. When labor failed to progress and a c-section was imminent, she not only explained the entire procedure and what to expect but she voluntarily stayed beyond her shift two hours to be in the OR and help deliver our son. Throughout the course of the day she became a friend to us and made the entire process of labor and delivery calm and a fun environment. She is a stellar nurse and I am so glad she was chosen to take care of us. Thank you, Emily!
