Emily was extremely patient and very flexible with many staff members coming in and out. She took the time to explain to us any information that other doctors did not make abundantly clear. She was very conversational about many topics that really helped to keep my mind off of the unknown experience and the pain that I was going through. She made my husband and I feel very comfortable and excited the whole time. I am very thankful for all of the care that we received during our stay at West Penn from the nurses and the doctors there, but Emily really stands out because she took the time to even visit us on the recovery floor which isn't even where she works. She offered to help us with anything we needed even though she doesn't work on that floor. She is a fantastic nurse and we are very thankful that we had the experience of working with her!
