My visit started in the emergency room. I had been badly beaten and assaulted and was in need of immediate lifesaving surgery, on my stomach. When I woke up, she was right on point, professional, and more than ready to help with my concerns. This story starts in 2022 and goes on still. She taught me how to be a patient and person while facing emotional trauma. There are lots of things she did way above the call of duty. Emily taught me all about the Ostomy Bag, the Catheter, I.V. lines, feeding tubes, Breathing Tubes, and such. So, I am a "side sleeper." This resulted in me getting badly tangled and humiliated. Emily would not only come to my aid and relieve this problem, but she also worked out a custom system for me that put a stop to that! Sparing me from further despair. Even got my phone charger set up in that jungle! No small task. I could go on about Emily because she is that kind of person. How about the time after I was released and had complications? Emily convinced me to come in. I did not want to. Good thing I did. She saved me from even more serious problems. Emily has shown me this ultimate level of care of care for over a year. She not only helped me physically, but Emily saved me emotionally.
