Emily has truly gone beyond her nursing responsibilities to aid and assist my mother. My mother was 97 years old and had been in the hospital for 2 weeks with a bowel obstruction and surgery. After surgery, she needed to have a bowel movement, and my mother was having a lot of difficulty. Emily stayed beyond the end of her shift to help her and ensured she was clean and out of pain. Her pleasant disposition and calming presence were also a blessing to my mother. Emily's duty to her profession will never be forgotten.
