I became a patient of Johnston-Willis Hospital due to some health challenges. I encountered different nurses but then I met Emily Flora. She is amazing, friendly, respectful and just an all-around cheerful person. I was in a lot of pain and feeling really bad. She lifted my spirit. She made an awesome difference in my life that day with words of encouragement. She kept me smiling and encouraged me that everything was going to be alright. She is a great example of what a nurse should be. She explained my concerns to me in a way that I could understand them. She stayed on top of her patients care and maintained communication with all of them. She is a great role model for other nurses; so down to earth, easy to talk to, friendly yet very professional and has a kind heart. She is a very knowledgeable and compassionate nurse. She was proactive in explaining what was happening, what medication was given to me and addressed any questions I might have had. She was always checking in on her patients and their concerns about care. Her kindness, her concern, positive attitude, and her bedside demeanor was awesome. She was always smiling and happy. She was professional, and she goes beyond her duties making sure that her patients are good. She is one of a kind.
