I am a 21-year-old with Autism and nurse Emily was my nurse. She was very compassionate to me and treated me with genuine kindness. She also took extra time to explain things to me when I didn't understand them, that made me feel very safe and comfortable to be here and in her care. I was so glad she was able to be my nurse 2 days in a row. When I went down for my MRI, she came in and talked to my mom to comfort her and that made me feel good so I didn't have to worry about my mom so much because I knew she was worried about me and getting tired too! Nurse Emily listens with her heart and to my feelings. I can tell she really likes her job by the way she cares for and listens to her patients.
