My mom was a patient on the neurology floor in April for 6 days. Emily was her nurse for several days and not only did my mom love the care Emily gave her, but our family truly appreciated how our mother was treated. Mom had had a stroke and was afraid. Emily calmly explained everything she was doing. She had a very sweet and bubbly, funny personality. Mom was admitted back at Hamot 3 days later to the TCU. During that second admission, I went back to the 4th floor and told Emily that Mom was back in the hospital. My mother was beyond thrilled when Emily came down to see her that day after her shift had ended. She stayed and visited for about 45 minutes and just talked with Mom. Her sweetness stays in my mom's heart. Emily is a wonderful nurse. Kudos to her!
